Hello World!

Peering out through the window of the blogging world is a bit like stepping onto a strange continent.  There's film in my camera and my back pack is filled to the brim!  I'm ready to explore!

OK.. What I really mean is that my smartphone is charged and I'm sitting in my kitchen with a fresh cup of mint tea and my iPad -- exploring with a modern twist.  Let's go!
